Shalini, holder of a BA (Hons) in Industrial Economics and an MBA, has over twenty years of rich and fulfilling working experience in multinational and local environments.
She is now a Freelance Consultant in Strategy, Business Development and Content Management. She is also a Corporate Trainer in Sales Management, Marketing and Brand Management, Customer Service, Leadership and Change Management.
Recent member of the C-Care (Mauritius) Executive Team and previously part of the Vivo Energy Mauritius’ Country Leadership Team with diverse sales and marketing experience in the retail and commercial oil and gas industry. International exposure including regional accountability and being part of the Shell East Africa Commercial Leadership Team.
Demonstrable competencies in business development and strategy, marketing strategy, sales management and change management. Specific end-to-end project management expertise includes pioneering innovative projects in Africa such as composite cylinders, loyalty program, e-commerce in convenience retailing. Enjoys facilitating business skills and personal development training workshops. Founder member of the John Maxwell Speakers Club in Mauritius. Former Board membership as Independent Director.
